Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 28, 2026
We want The Vendor List to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology like screen readers or navigate by keyboard. We're working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What we've done
- All form fields have visible, associated labels.
- Photos have descriptive alt text, and photo galleries can be opened and viewed using only a keyboard.
- The site uses semantic HTML (headings, landmarks, real buttons and links) rather than generic clickable elements wherever practical.
- Text and background colors are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- The site works without requiring precise mouse control, and doesn't rely on color alone to convey status (status badges pair color with text).
Known limitations
Accessibility is ongoing work, not a one-time checklist. If you run into anything on the site that doesn't work well with assistive technology, we want to know — see below.
Feedback
If you experience any accessibility barrier using this site, please email accessibility@thevendorlistsc.com with a description of the issue and the page it's on. We'll work to address it.
